Q: How do I know when to increase the weights for an exercise?
A: In the Drop Your Freshman 15 E book exercises are prescribed certain number of repetitions, if you find that you can do 2 consecutive sets hitting those repetitions asked for; you can probably bump the weight up a bit.
Q: How do I monitor my tempo for an exercise?
A: To monitor tempo you can count down the numbers prescribed as you lift, or buy a metronome at a music store it counts beats for you and can keep your counts consistent.
Q: I don’t belong to a gym; can I still use the program?
A: The Drop Your Freshman 15 program was written so that it could be performed anywhere. If you don’t have dumbbells you can use exercise bands for most of the exercises. You can purchase the bands and other equipment at www.fitfreshman.com
Q: I get really winded even in the beginner workouts what do I do?
A: First check with a medical professional whether you are cleared for exercise, if so start the workout as your normally would, but increase your rest in-between sets to 2 minutes, as your conditioning gets better, decrease the length of the rest times.
Q: When performing intervals my legs start to really burn is that normal?
A: Interval conditioning is meant to stimulate a lot of lactic acid in the muscles, if you do feel the burn that’s a good thing, make sure you don’t push your self to the point of nausea though.
Q: I have completed all 12 weeks of the Drop Your Freshman 15 program, and I look great what do I do now?
A: Congratulations on getting in the best shape of your life, I’m pretty sure you don’t want to let your body to lose its shape; you may even want to get fitter, if that’s the case visit www.fitfreshman.com

A: Refer to the images on page 27 they should give you a clearer understanding of your body type
Q: I can’t possibly eat as many times a day as the book says, how do I get around this?
A: If you are having a hard time fitting in all your meals, opt for a meal replacement PrOmega shake instead, it’s the easiest way to meet your nutritional requirements to drop your freshman 15.
Q: I am eating according to plan but I find myself craving certain foods is that normal?
A: yes cravings are very normal, your body will take time to adjust to eating healthy nutritious foods within a matter of weeks, if your cravings are insatiable eat the food you are craving as you’re cheat meal, then get back on track.
Q: I am getting bored of the meals that are suggested how do I mix it up?

Q: I am using the beginner bands and I find some of the exercises too easy, how do I increase their difficulty.
A: To make the exercises more challenging you can purchase a set of intermediate bands; you may find that within a matter of weeks that they may also become less challenging.
